This was the 2nd day in our Piping/Drumming Weekend. Our judge this time was Adrian Hoy from Cullybackey Pipe Band in Northern Ireland. Our thanks again go to Oldham Scottish Pipe Band for hosting this event and also to Bernadette Cahill for her valuable service as our steward. This was the first time we had opened all the drumming events to all RSPBA-registered bands. It was good to see such a diverse entry from bands as far away as RAF Waddington, University of Bedfordshire, Craigmount Pipe Band and Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia.
